To Whom It May Concern:
I have been working as a peer in one capacity or another for 17 years beginning with my volunteer experience greeting drop in members and answering phones in 2001 to working as a activities director and facilitating outings to hockey games and mall trips with as many as 12 members out of town to working in PAL (peer assisted Liaison) team helping individuals and groups I our agency and in the commun ity work toward finding their own recovery journey.
For years I have enjoyed the opportunity to highlight the needs of those with mental health in our community and have promoted recovery through professional videos with MHCCI and Salt and Light productions which can be viewed through the links and titles. Additional Videos: www.mhcci.com and, Stigma of Mental Illness: http://www.saltandlightproductions.org/video-production/issue-videos/
It is my desire to use the skills I have gained throughout the years to work with peers toward their own recovery goals. I look forward to scheduling an interview and am available via phone or email listed above.
