CRPS Study Guide

We are very excited to finally share with our members and prospective Certified Recovery Peer Specialists the 2017 CRPS Exam Study Guide Flashcards. If you would like your FREE copy today, please email us at info@peersupportfl.org.  

Magellan Apprenticeship Program 

Magellan Complete Care has launched an apprenticeship program to provide individuals a roadMAP to a successful career as a peer specialist. MCC’s Peer Specialist Apprenticeship Program provides the necessary training, mentoring, and support to successfully pursue a career as a peer specialist. Apprentice positions are part-time and time-limited.

A MAP apprentice will receive:

  • paid on the job experience;
  • access to a comprehensive catalog of free training through the Magellan Training Academy;
  • one-on-one mentorship by an experienced peer specialist;
  • regular opportunities to connect with and support other peer specialists; and 
  • assistance in obtaining a peer specialist job post-apprenticeship

Please include with your resume a cover letter outlining any training or experience you have and why you want to pursue a career as a peer specialist. Apply here today! 

Northeast Florida Peer Support Network Meeting 

 We are so excited to announce the second meeting of the Northeast Florida Peer Support Network in Jacksonville, FL! Join the Northeast Florida Peer Support Network on Wednesday, August 9th from 11 am – 1 pm. 

The Northeast Florida Peer Support Network was formed to provide support, information, and networking opportunities for people living and providing Peer Support in Northeast Florida. They are a group of Peer Support professionals who strive to provide the highest quality services offered through innovative and effective programs for those in recovery from mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.
